This past weekend with our host families was truly unforgettable! They planned a great variety of activities that showed us the best of Texas, and we had a fantastic time together.
Some of us started the weekend at the Stockyards in Fort Worth, where we really got into the Texas spirit. The Longhorns were impressive! We also checked out Meow Wolf Grapevine, an immersive art experience that took us on a creative journey.
For those who visited Dallas, it was a real adventure! One of the highlights was watching the Dallas Stars play against the Edmonton Oilers. We also explored the Dallas Arboretum, where the beautiful gardens and colorful flowers felt like a peaceful oasis.
Of course, no trip to Texas would be complete without a visit to Six Flags! Whether we were screaming on roller coasters or just enjoying the fun atmosphere, it was a day full of excitement and laughter.
Some of us even tried a haunted house, which had us jumping at every turn! The scares were real, and it was a fun way to bond with friends while facing our fears together.
Overall, this weekend was a wonderful experience that brought us closer together and created lasting memories. We’re so grateful to our host families for making it all happen!
