This project has been quite a journey. Despite the formalities and rules that seemed overwhelming at times for us 11the graders, I have to say, it was all worth it. The organizers really put their hearts into it, and their efforts didn’t go unnoticed.
We had some fun along the way and learned a lot, too. Being part of a conference where people spoke confidently about global issues was eye-opening. The chairs who led the event, made it special. They gave it life and made in unforgettable.
Sure, it wasn’t always easygoing, but the good times overshadowed the tough moments. From the war declarations between the Asian and European committees (simulations!) to the hilarious punishments like singing “Last Christmas” or “Diamonds” by Rihanna, and even the entertaining gossip box, these memories make me ask you to join next year and see for yourself.
Skipping school for this project was totally worth it. I’m glad I took the chance to be part of this wonderful community, even if it’s just for a few days. Thanks, Anne-Frank-Gymnasium for the opportunity. Keep up the good work!
